13th December 2005 - by SmoothMunkyWhoa Charzy, you might be done with the site but I sure as hell haven't. I have muchos stuff planed for it. I've not been able to do any of it tho because of university and life getting in the way, but I have a couple of weeks break coming up (yay, xmas :P) and I plan to add some new stuff. You guys don't even know my friend code yet. Well now it will live at the top of the page where the countdown used to live. I plan to have a database where you can add you're friend codde, and after that, I'm going to try and get a league or something set up. Anyways, sorry for not being around so much, its just any free time I have a had has just been eaten up with my DS. Its mostly been Mario Kart but Sonic Rush and Kirby: Power Paintbrush are also good games if you're looking for some single player games. On anohter note, any emails being sent, can you please put the subject of Mario Kart or something like that because most emails seem to get lost in my junk box. If you ever want to set up a game on Mario Kart, just either email me or add my to your MSN. We need more time trials as well. I'm going to end up beating all the ones we have soon. I need a challenge. Okay, thats all now, see you later guys.
12th December 2005 - by CharzendatHello. I am just letting you know that not much will be happening with this site from now on. We will continue to have polls, decals and Time Trials but that's about it. I will be working on track guides over christmas but other than that don't expect anything else. Me and SmoothMunky have had a good run with this site with over 8 million hits since we started but it is time to move on. We will be doing another site some time based on another popular Nintendo game, but which one you'll have to wait and see.
4th December 2005 - by CharzendatAs I have some very important assignments due in over the next 2 weeks I have sadly had to lock my DS away in a safe :( But that still won't stop me working on the site. A new poll today addressing the subject of Snaking.
2nd December 2005 - by CharzendatHas it really been that long since the last update? Well I've got asignments due in 2 weeks so updates will be a little less frequent till then. But I have added uploaded the latest decals and Time Trials.
27th November 2005 - by CharzendatMore decals as usual and a new poll. Also I started work on the track guides today but still don't expect them any time soon. Also I am working on a long term project studying the probability of getting an item in what position. Fortunatly their are only 3 levels in the item stat which will really cut down on my work.
25th November 2005 - by CharzendatOne more thing. Would anyone make me a MarioKartDS.co.uk decal? I am useless at doing decals so if anyone could send me one I would be very greatful. Also it has to be MarioKartDS.co.uk not MKDS.co.uk (that site is owned by some guy who has dedicated it to a Japan only Creamcast game called Trizeal. Don't go their it is rubbish). Thankyou.
Woo, SM made an update. That must mean MKDS has hit shelves in Europe and thouasands of gamers continent wide are karting. But what does that mean for us? ell firstly it means we have to change our timer from Europe to Japan. Also we need to think of ways to make this site worth keeping up. Tournaments would be obvious but can be tricky to arrange with MKDS. I dunno, any suggestions then please contact us.
But for now all I can offer you is an update on Time Trials, Decals and a help section in the Chat room. FAQs and a walkthrough about the game will be along later (I hope). And we broke the 5 million hits barrier a couple of days ago.
24th November 2005 - by SmoothMunkyTomorrow is the day we've all be waiting for. I can't wait, can you? I checked the post today and I had a package from Gameplay.com waiting for me. I thought it had to be Mairo Kart DS but when I got home and opened it I found Sonic Rush. I was quite disapointed. However Sonic Rush is a quality game. Its just Gameplay.com says that Only MKDS has been dispatched and yet they deliver Sonic. Oh well. Enjoy you're free time while you can, because tomorrow, you will lose it.
22nd November 2005 - by CharzendatOK, I tore myself away from MKDS to make this update. I've added Chat to the side menu and uploaded a few more decals. I was going to do more but the game started to call for me.
I got my MKDS import, YAY! So what am I doing here?
21st November 2005 - by CharzendatWe now have a chat room, YAY!! As chat rooms go it is very basic but the only one I could find with the mod privilages that I wanted. I shall add it to the side menu tomorrow along with a few other updates.
19th November 2005 - by CharzendatA new affliate to report today. The site is rather basic but could be useful. It allows you to register your friend code online including your name and other details. Then if you race someone and think "Hmmmm, what an excellent racer. I would like to challange him/her again." You just go to that site, search for them and add their code to your list. Once that is done you can e-mail them your code so you can be added to theirs. Marvelous.
18th November 2005 - by CharzendatOne week away from the EU release now (and hopefully less for my import). Nothing new to report really since so much about the game is known. If anyone has info on if their is a Lv8 Mission I would like to know. People have claimed they got 3 stars for all Levels 1 to 7 but unlocked nothing. Maybe it's in the staff ghosts. Site wise we have the next decal of the week winner and... thats all.
16th November 2005 - by CharzendatWell the game is most deffintly out now in both US & Australia. I've changed the countdown for Europe and it shows MKDS shall be here in over a week :(. But at least I've got it on import :). MKDS has most deffintly made it's impact online by making the server shut down for a short while last night, but it is running good now. A few more decals and some extra unlockables in details is all I have to offer you today. If their is any more information you would like to send us then please do. I am particuly intrested in Staff Ghost times and unlocking things in Mission Mode (their must be a Level 8).
